My Opinion

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.”
This Biblical quote (which is unusual for an atheist like me) is the perfect description of Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States. Just about every negative adjective in the `English Language has been used to describe this Troglodyte.
For those who don’t know this word it means “knuckle dragging cave dweller “ (an apology to our Neanderthal ancestors) with the I.Q. of an inch worm. This waste of skin now claims that America is the “First in the Universe”. As we know the Universe is a pretty big place but then Trump is a pretty big liar. I wonder how many bars of soap his mother went through washing out his mouth as he was growing up.
Apologies as I digress from what I really wish to say.
Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest is a quote attributed to King Henry II which led to the death of Thomas Beckett. Mayhap this Impeachment Trial will rid the US of this turbulent president, but then I dream.
As an outsider who, at times, has trouble comprehending the American system of government and some might say I have no business writing about Trump and I understand that. The problem arises with the fact that what occurs in the US affects your northern neighbour.
The Impeachment Trial in the U.S. Senate has become I would say that the outcome is a forgone conclusion. Trump will be found innocent and the whole process will turn out to be a sham.
